A full forge: repositories, pull requests, issues, labels, releases, and CI via dedicated
runners. The Forgejo REST API is what the fj CLI and the Fjord iOS app speak, so your tooling has a clean target. Importing from GitHub is
a supported path.
What GitHub still does better
We'll be honest: GitHub has a vast ecosystem, a marketplace, and network effects a focused host doesn't replicate. If your work depends on drive-by contributions from the GitHub crowd or a specific Marketplace action, weigh that. Fjord is for teams whose forge is for their own team's work.
